A Casa da Tanya

2 bedroom city flat interior design

Layout definition, furniture selection and decoration for a family flat. Two bedrooms, hallway, hall entrance and living/dinning room. A minimalist look and functional design was crucial for this project, where the focus was comfort and harmony of all spaces.

2D Blueprint

Bedroom 1

When on holidays this room was meant for kids and occasionally by guests, we went with a more joyful look. We were able to put a third bed in a drawer under the first bed, and we got drawers for extra storage under both beds. The colors were based on the client's preference, mainly blue and details of yellow, with a lot of natural light. Simple but harmonious decoration for a verstaile and confortable space.

Bedroom 2

Room for permanent living for two ladies. We made the most of all the space, the main focus being comfort and storage in the wardrobe. The colors were chosen according to the client's preference, taking into account the previous room and a more feminine touch. Adding light shades of pink to the decor. Something more minimalist but refined.

Hall \ Entry

Tried to make the most of the hall. Combining the useful with the pleasant, storage and support furniture. A spotlight at the entrance and a simple but striking decoration. We added colors in shades of orange, yellow and blue, also according to the client's request. In the decoration, we put trend pieces and highlighted the golden ones, that way we start to tell the story for the next environment.

Dining and Living room

This environment has two clear objectives: social and leisure. Meant to easily share meals, watch TV and/or read a book. Since the furniture was already pre selected by the client, we made the furniture arrangement, and added all the decor. The color palette was in shades of grey, gold, beige and white. Nothing too abrasive, smooth, that would bring more depth to space. Some decorative pieces were specifically ordered. The focus was always something refined and elegant, simple but that would make a difference.
